Description - Encore is a women's social organization that meets from September to May. Monthly General Meetings often include outside speakers. There are also Interest Groups that meet throughout the month. Annual dues are $25.00. New members are always welcome.
General Meetings - We typically meet from September to May on the second Thursday of the month at 9:30 am at either the Avon Library or at Countryside Park. Please note our weather cancellation policy below. Interest Group Meetings - We usually meet at a local restaurant or at a hostess's home. Please contact the Chairpersons of the Interest Groups for more information regarding specific meeting places. Please note our weather cancellation policy below. Weather Cancellation Policy - If Avon public schools are closed due to inclement weather, our meeting will be cancelled. If schools have a delayed start time, we will meet as usual. General Membership Directory - We will send out a directory to all members as an attachment in an email. Please save this list to your computers and/or print a copy for yourself as we will not be posting personal addresses and phone numbers on our website. If you need a copy of the directory, please email Diane Baumann. Membership - To join Encore, please print and complete our Membership Form then mail it, along with a check for your dues, to our Membership Chairperson as instructed on the form. Sunshine - The purpose of Sunshine is to contact any member who might need kind words of encouragement, sympathy and/or joyful congratulations.
